Our must-sees in Heiligenhafen? Definitely the exciting adventure bridge, the dreamy Graswarder and the quaint harbour of the small coastal town. Heiligenhafen is perfect for long walks on the beach, extensive discovery tours and a relaxing stay by the sea.

Pier

You can enjoy a very special view of the sea and the coast from the pier. It stretches a total of 435 metres into the water - and has a lot to offer. The "adventure" pier is no coincidence: the path to the sea is dotted with numerous seating and sunbathing options, a bathing deck, play areas for children and glazed sections (particularly suitable for days with bad weather). In a small, light-flooded room, there is space for weddings or very special yoga classes. Towards evening, the indirect lighting bathes the bridge in a romantic light - and shows you the way towards the coast.

Grass warden

Together with the Steinwarder, the Graswarder forms an elongated peninsula with a 230-hectare nature reserve. Numerous old, thatched half-timbered and wooden houses adorn the beautiful Baltic Sea beach. Incidentally, apart from a few spots on Sylt, Graswarder is now considered the most expensive piece of land in Schleswig-Holstein.

Harbour

Heiligenhafen lives up to its name - because in our little village you can admire not just one, but two harbours: a quaint fishing harbour and a beautiful marina. The former attracts visitors with its many small boats and cutters - and the opportunity to pick up a portion of freshly caught fish. The marina is also worth a visit. The 1,000 berths here are home to numerous beautiful ships and yachts that are waiting to be marvelled at.

Life is a beach: that's why, and also because it's so beautiful, we have built our Beach Motel in a prime beach location. Right by the sea, in the middle of a magical dune landscape, in close proximity to the picturesque Gradwarder nature reserve.
